TGIF!!!

friday! woohoo!!! and i've got absolutely nothing to do today! this is a wonderful friday indeed.

another tape done

alright! i've miraculously (is that how you spell the word?) finished another tape of transcribing. one tape in a day! that's a new record. ten more minutes to end of work. this blog is starting to seem all about tapes and the end of work doesnt it? cause by the time i go home i hardly bother to go here.

damn...no mood to do any work today la. brain's swimming around up there.

yet another day

another day of transcribing. but this time i actually finished a tape ahead of time. and this time it wasnt a short one! baik ah...that leaves me with...hmmm...3 more to go? yeah i think that's about right.

i dont mind actually. i mean its a little mind numbing. and definitely concentration intense. but hey, at least its not thinking intense. i didnt go into NS to think. especially when im not an officer. you pay me peanuts. i act like a monkey. hey, its only fair, no?

so it's another half-hour to the end of another work day. tick-tock, tick-tock, a few ( actually not so few) more of this and november will come around. ORD loH!

and considering ill be chalking up a couple more off's along with the 6 days of leave that i still have, i think i'll be out even before november. but alamak...hari raya aidil firti this year falls on 13 oct is it? hmm..maybe if i really clock in the hours, i might just accumulate enough off to see me through the festive season. now wouldnt THAT be great? =D

office blues

ok, so far im still on target. see? another post in successive days. ok well, it's only been one day since the resolution actually. but no matter. i'm in office now. and i'm pretty much ahead of schedule with this whole transcribing business. thanks to the fact that the last tape i did was actually shorter tha the previous two. haha! but targets are targets. and i have hit it.
why be so gung-ho right? army only what. they say SAF stands for what? do you know?
'Serve And F#$&-off'. pure and simple.

hmm..now i wonder if i'll have MPs knocking on my door soon..

on a separate note, i have only clocked one driving lesson to date. sialah...if i keep this up, i'll probably get my liscence just in time to drive my 'just-married' car. procrastination. one big problem i have. and ironically, i seem to have put off dealing with that. ho-ho. some things sure die hard.

turnaround

sometimes i really can't be grateful enough to things that happen. my ns life ain't so bad anymore. got a change in department! yahoo! and in any case...let's see; ORD is on November 6. so thats just about another 7 months!
