its ocs for me. haha. long hair once again. this rocks.

ok.notice how i conveniently failed to mention all the other aspects of being in ocs.
especially the parts about it being brutally tough..but is it?..really? i dont know. come monday i'll find out for certain. yes sir

stupidity personified

damn. i just did the stupidest thing. was tuning the guitar, when i realised the tuner wasnt reflecting the change.so i kept turning.still no change.then i turned some more. suddenly PIAK!, another string snapped! basket noe! i was trying to tune one string but was tightening another. hahaha..damn stupid. now got only 5 strings on my guitar.
on an even more boring note, had SAF Lion's Trail today. basically an excursion to the war memorial chapel and museum, followed by a visit to one of the 15inch guns and finishing off with a guided tour around the bedok NEWater plant.

fish & co

had platoon level lunch at fish and co just now. haha. 50 ppl! no wait..some bums didnt turn up. but i guess they all have their reasons. and all our sergeants came too. pity the 2LTs couldnt make it.
oh and while chatting with my sergeant, i found out something cool. in OCS, cadets aren't allowed to keep short hair. apparently it's to differentiate them from 'men'. so cool! for that reason alone i'd wanna go OCS man!

haha..ok on second thought i think its the pay thats the real draw. money makes the world go round. certainly makes my world go round. time will tell if i get in or not. e-posting on the 17th. goodluck to me then.

a private affair

yes folks, today i have become a private. wah....as in really..Wah...not so much the fact that im a private. but the fact that ive gone thru 9 wks of bmt..probably the most fun times of NS.

just came home from 24click route march. started off at about 1500h on sat;
ended 0130h on sunday. man what an experience. marching in the dark of night. can hardly see the fieldpack of the guy ahead. skali u walk and walk, end up walking into a tree.haha! one dude in front of me walk right into a large pothole of muddy water.tough luck.

just read my previous post. haha. sit test was alright.a bit dumb though.they give u a mission situation. make u plan for it. then u set off. but u end up doing all sorts of 'obstacles' instead'.only one station was directly related to the mission. but alright la.
and in exactly one week im gonna be POP-ing!!!!! no more recruit!
